Ma'alaea Surf Resort is an amazing place! It is a quiet oasis located right on the beautiful Ma’alaea Bay. The location is close to great restaurants and surf/snorkeling spots. You can also swim in the bay in the morning and walk to get a tasty shave ice and dessert at Ululani's Hawaiian Shave Ice and Sugar Beach Bake shop.

Have been going to this property for forty years it is like my second home. The property manager and Reatail manager are excellent, They are the best at what they do, they are always accommodating and respond to all request as quickly as possible. E 4 is a great location the only thing I could mention is maybe a new couch and two occasional chairs, the chairs in the living space could perhaps go in the bedrooms to put pillows and clothes on instead of the floor.

We have stayed at the Maalaea Surf Resort many times over the last thirty+ years. It is truly the best vacation spot on the island. The grounds are beautiful and the central location cannot be beat! The property managers were awesome; friendly, helpful and really made everyone feel like special guests!
Over the years with costs increasing, the daily to not daily maid service has changed. During our visit and winds were non-stop and there was a lot of dirty dust. I am totally happy to clean the unit, but feel that more cleaning supplies could be a part of the condo (ie mop, rags, bucket, cleaning products).

Our unit (E4) at Ma'alaea Surf Resort was perfect. We had easy access to the big pool and easy access to the beach. The unit itself was updated and very nice. All in all it was a perfect unit for our family. We will definitely stay in this unit again.

Maalaea Surf Resort is the only place we would ever stay in Kihei Maui. Feels like home and the property managers are amazing and very helpful. We stayed in unit E4 for our 1st 2 weeks with another couple. Excellent unit and location near the big pool.
