Ma’alaea Surf Resorts has been renting our Maui vacation homes since they were originally built back in the 1970’s. Many of our guests have enjoyed their Maui trips so much, they have been coming back every year for more than 30 years! While most stay for a week or so, many stay for a month or more! Over the years our popularity has continued to grow with word of mouth recommendations from our satisfied vacationers who talk about “the best kept secret in Maui”. We are proud of our resort and it shows. Our buildings, grounds and amenities are constantly being maintained and upgraded to insure our returning vacation rental guests have the extraordinary experience they have come to expect over the years.

Amazing views- relaxing stay

We absolutely loved our stay! Our family rented three units while we were in town for a wedding, and everything exceeded our expectations. The property was beautiful, clean, and well-maintained. Having the beach just steps from our door was incredible. We especially appreciated how peaceful it was—no overcrowded beaches, just a relaxing atmosphere where we could truly unwind. We are already planning our next stay here and highly recommend it!

We've stayed at Ma'alaea Surf several times in the past, but always in 2nd floor units. We enjoyed being six steps from the beach so much that we'll be staying in a ground-floor unit from now on. We also enjoyed being in an end unit, so this unit will likely be our go-to from now on. The only thing I'd change is a recommendation of having two beach chairs available (had one beach chair and two camping chairs, and the latter are useless at the beach) and perhaps investing in a real high quality beach umbrella (Malea was kind enough to pay for a replacement umbrella, but with the strong winds in this area they need something closer to a commercial-grade umbrella). Other than that this unit is nice, cool, clean, and you can't beat the location.

Our family is from Oahu and is not spread out across the islands and Colorado. Staying here brought us together and allowed us all to truly relax. The view is exactly as pictured! Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the lanai as well as the centralized location. We could walk to the coffee shop, farmers market, and even the canoe club! The house had everything we needed and the management team was always super responsive.

As always, our stay was wonderful. We have been to Ma’alaea Surf resort 4 times and do appreciate the place as exceptional. This is the first time we have rented this unit and found it to be just as nice as the unit we have rented in the past.

Our family stayed in this lovely corner condo and loved every minute! The location was ideal, with gorgeous views all day long. Adults appreciated the very comfortable beds, AC and well equipped kitchen. Kids loved the easy beach access, pools and adorable geckos they found. Living and dining room had ample comfy seating. Location in Kiehi was great for getting to other parts of the island. The condo and surrounding property were pristine, and mid-week cleaning offered was a nice bonus. Communication with manager was great. We highly recommend this condo in this charming Ma'alea Surf complex.

We have enjoyed coming to Maui for many years, and most times have stayed at this resort. It's my happy place, since it's quiet, clean, and right on the beach. I love hearing the surf and swimming in the ocean, even though there are 2 pools here. We like the access to the highway, and local shops. The cleaning staff does a great job, and is respectful of your time. It's very relaxing to sit on the lanai and watch the canoes go by. It's not a great place to snorkel, as there are no fish, but several beaches up and down the coast provide plenty of opportunity.
